Ideal for whomever is fascinated by untouched landscapes and does not have enough time to travel to the Sahara.

Agafay desert is located on the outskirts of Marrakech, about one hour’s drive away and it is definitely worth visiting if you have some extra time while you are in the ochre city.

As you leave the city behind, you will encounter a lush vegetation made of olive and orange trees and a few Berber villages until you reach the Agafay desert, with views of the mighty Atlas Mountains on the horizon.

Agafay is a stony but yet a real desert and although you will not see the sandy dunes that you would find in the South of Morocco, this magical and peaceful place will make you feel as you are miles away from civilization.

Our ‘basic’ tour includes one hour camel trek, one hour quad biking and a typical Moroccan dinner in a Berber house.
